  i'd rather them not even question him at this point.

  by allowing a video link, they put the ball 100% in his court.

  i don't get what they expect to accomplish by having a video link only.. 2. he won't feel any pressure.

  He won't feel any pressure. He's not in the hot seat. He's miles away when he gives an answer. I think this alone is a huge advantage for the JW side.

  Not necessarily. It could turn out to be his undoing. It's easy for him to have a false sense of confidence and feeling less pressured could mean less adrenaline and thus a poorer performance when he's caught with a difficult question.

  I wonder if the questions get too much there will suddenly be "technical problems" with the Video Link ?

  That is my only concern - that the video link gives him an opportunity to chicken out at any time by feigning technical difficulties.

  Advice on Waiting for Jehovah

  hi guys, .

  in discussions with a current jw, they told me that have big concerns with regards to the 607 bce date, but they are waiting on jehovah for refining.

  any suggestions on questions to pose to them based on their feedback?.

Look, for 3 decades the organization taught that the superior authorities of Romans 13 does not refer to the secular authorities but to Jehovah and Jesus - despite the fact that Romans 13 makes it very evident that it is indeed the secular authorities. So were JWs waiting on Jehovah during those 3 decades? Or were they turning a blind eye to Jehovah's clear direction in his revealed word? During that 3 decades when JWs had it wrong christendom had it right! Christendom knew that the superior authorities refer to the secular authorities. So Jehovah reveals the truth to false christendom before he reveals it to his people? Waiting on Jehovah? You mean waiting on the organization, right? Waiting on an organization that seems to have a knack for lagging behind Jehovah's revealed truth and bringing reproach on Jehovah in the process!"

  Witness behavior in my gym ....

  about two months ago two very attractive ladies in their mid 30's signed on at one of the gyms i belong to.

  for a while i noticed them watching me and naturally i assumed they were taking an interest in how i went about training my clients since many do before they decide to approach me and inquire about my services (i own a health and fitness consultancy).. sure enough one of them approached me a few weeks back and asked me for a business card, inquired about rates and various other aspects involved with signing on with me.

  i handed her a card and explained that my client schedule was full but she should consider signing on with one of my personal trainers who still had some open spots available.

  i emailed mr. stewart about jackson's testimony, asking if the video link would be visible to the public.. this was his prompt reply:.

  Jesus The Perfect Reflection Of The Father?

  so this week's wt study was all about jesus and the miracles he performed.

  according to the study this proves that god wants to heal mankind in the same way.

  because as we all know jesus is a perfect reflection of his heavenly father.

  Jesus is not a perfect reflection of the father. The father had a man killed for picking up sticks on the sabbath. The father stipulated that a person is to not even light a fire in his home on the sabbath! The father had very strict rules punishable by death.

  But Jesus performed cures on the sabbath. Jesus advocated breaking the rules to show compassion. Jesus was not a stickler for rules. He valued compassion, discretion and reasonableness above following rules. The father advocated breaking the necks of anyone who broke the rules.

  Jehovah's Witnesses are aptly named. They are not followers of christ. They are followers of Jehovah. Jesus broke the rules to show compassion by healing on the sabbath. Jehovah's Witnesses reject compassion to uphold the rules. They rather see a child die than compassionately allow him/her to receive a lifesaving blood transfusion.
